Agarik’s CWDM network
This is a ring topology, which makes it possible to provide redundancy options via two different paths.
CWDM technology
- WDM technology, basically makes it possible to multiplex several signals (one per wavelength) over a pair of fibers. A wavelength can be specifically assigned to a particular service or client.
- CWDM is multiplexing between wavelengths spaced less than 20 nm apart, unlike DWDM which corresponds to multiplexing between wavelengths spaced less than 1 nm apart.
